Reno Burrito Project

Recurring Events Seeking Volunteers

The Reno Burrito Project is a non-profit organization based in Reno that uses burritos as a way to build community. Every other Sunday, the group wraps about 400 to 500 burritos and distributes them and other important items to the unsheltered community.

Distribution: We distribute every other Sunday, check recent posts on social media for schedules. Distribution starts at 2pm where Evans Ave and E. 6th St. cross, typically heading south through the RTC 4th St bus station, then down Virginia street and along the Riverwalk to Barbara Bennett Park.

Volunteer Info: Burrito rolling starts at 12pm at Center of Influence (1095 E Taylor St). When you enter, go down the stairs to your right and get yourself a name tag to begin. Distribution starts at 2pm where Evans Ave and E. 6th St. cross (near 215 E 6th St, across the street from Biomat). Please park on the street, not in the private parking lot! You will see volunteers with carts and our signature blue coolers on wheels. We'd love to have you for either or both parts!
