Passover is the Jewish holidayof liberation and new beginnings. A Passover seder consists of a series of readings and storytelling, followed by a communal meal. This seder is open to people of all faiths and backgrounds. Bring a potluck item to share– the host will provide the seder plate and matzah ball soup (fish is ok, but no other meat please). Swan Lake Cleanup

Help us rid the Swan Lake Nature Study Area of trash and invasive plants. This cleanup is being conducted in cooperation with Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful (KTMB) and Washoe County Park Ranger Celia. KTMB will provide trash pickers, trashbags, shovels, and one-size work gloves. Ranger Celia will help identify the invasive plants that need to be removed. Sturdy work shoes advised. Don't forget to bring your water bottle! Children ages 5 and older are welcome to participate if supervised by their parents. The event will take place under any weather.
